There Are Practically A Billion Ways To Track Santa Claus Online

Probably no surprise that the guy credited with distributing gifts to millions of kids is getting more tech savvy. Here are some ways to track Santa's flight path on the WWW.

The official NORAD Santa Tracker is going mobile. Not only can you follow Saint Nick's path on , but you can also follow his progress on your cell phone by visiting or doing a search for "Santa" on your smartphone's .

Speaking of smartphones, there are several Santa tracking apps for iPhone and iPad in the Apple App Store including , , and .  Android users have their own set of apps including .

Of course, NORAD's Santa trackers are going all social media on us in 2010. Kids can track the big guy through , , , , and .

You can also track Santa the good old fashioned way, by telephone. Just tell your kids to dial 1-877-Hi-NORAD (1-877-446-6723). They can also email NORAD for the latest info at [email protected].

NORAD says the tracking will begin at 3 a.m. CST on Christmas eve.
