The City of Austin is looking for community feedback on its proposed plans to turn Congress Avenue into a more pedestrian and cyclist-friendly zone, including constructing an entirely new car-free plaza.

With more than $300 million in voter-approved bonds for pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, the city is asking for public feedback on plans that will guide how to spend the money.

A new pedestrian path has opened along a stretch of the 183A toll road, connecting Leander and Cedar Park. The five-mile, ten-foot-wide path cost $3.1�
