News fans rejoice! Starting in July we鈥檙e bringing you the programs you love at times that fit your schedule.
Starting Friday, July 1, we鈥檙e airing an encore presentation of 鈥溾�� at 8 p.m. weeknights. Now those of you who can鈥檛 tune in for the 10 a.m. broadcast have a second chance to hear what鈥檚 making news across the Lone Star State.
We鈥檙e always trying to improve our service and your enthusiastic response to 鈥溾�� in the evenings has been noted, so we鈥檙e moving it up an hour. Starting Monday, July 4, you鈥檒l hear international news, analysis and information from 鈥淏BC World Service鈥� at 10 p.m. weeknights.
Additionally, 鈥�,鈥� a fast and funny hour of culture, food and conversation designed to help you win your weekend dinner parties, is moving up an hour to 9 p.m. Fridays.
These changes are being implemented to bring you more relevant content during times when you鈥檙e listening. It also means we鈥檙e discontinuing the Canadian arts magazine 鈥淨鈥� and 鈥淗umankind,鈥� 鈥� two programs that have failed to garner consistent listening.
That鈥檚 also the case with the dropping of some other evening shows, so we鈥檙e eliminating the 10 p.m. repeat broadcasts of 鈥� 鈥淥n The Media,鈥� 鈥淭he Tavis Smiley Show,鈥� 鈥淪nap Judgment鈥� and 鈥淭his American Life.鈥� These programs will continue airing in their regular .
