It’s election night in Austin. Polls have closed in the races for mayor and three seats on the Austin City Council.
Back in November, no single candidate in these races garnered a majority of votes, so the top two went to a runoff.
Results from early voting and Election Day have been published and are available below.

Kirk Watson claims victory in the race to be Austin's next mayor
Results from AGÕæÈ˰ټÒÀÖ, Williamson and Hays counties show Kirk Watson received 57,346 votes, which is 50.39% of total votes counted. Celia Israel received 56,460 votes, or 49.61% of votes.
José Velásquez wins race for District 3 seat on Austin City Council
Results show José Velásquez received 4,165 votes, which is 53.32% of total votes counted so far. Daniela Silva received 3,646 votes, or 46.68% of votes.
Ryan Alter wins race to represent District 5 on Austin City Council
Results show Ryan Alter received 7,898 votes, which is 59.63% of total votes counted so far. Stephanie Bazan received 5,347 votes, or 40.37% of votes.
Zohaib 'Zo' Qadri wins race for District 9 on Austin City Council
Results show Zohaib “Zo� Qadri received 7,276 votes, which is 51.24% of total votes counted so far. Linda Guerrero received 6,924 votes, or 48.76% of votes.
