The Texas Tribune has called the Democratic primary runoff for House District 46 race for. The former Austin mayor pro-tem held a close lead throughout the night. But her opponent, immigration attorney, couldn鈥檛 overcome a 400-vote deficit from early voting totals.
The district includes parts of East Austin, Manor and Pflugerville.
"We have got to get in there and we have got to fight and we鈥檝e got to put together new coalitions so that we can deliver actual results to this district and all of AG真人百家乐 County, Manor and Pflugerville," Cole said at an election night watch party at Hoover's Cooking.
She also mentioned she'd work to represent the Latino community of East Austin.
"And I want that population to know," she said, "that as we say in the black community, 鈥榃e feel ya and I got ya."'
Cole will face Republican and Libertarian in November.

In House District 45: came back from an early vote deficit to defeat . Zwiener will challenge Republican this fall.
In House District 47: Vikki Goodwin easily defeated Elaina Fowler for the Democratic nomination. Goodwin now faces incumbent Republican in November to represent the West AG真人百家乐 County district.
