Texans will start casting their votes in this year’s primary elections today.
Early voting starts today and continues until Feb. 26 and, aside from weighing in on this year’s race for the White House, registered Republican and Democratic voters in Texas have plenty of races to consider.
AGÕæÈ˰ټÒÀÖ County Democrats will vote in two contested congressional races in districts 10 and 21 â€� seats now held by Republican Representatives and , respectively. There’s also to replace outgoing Democratic Rep. Elliott Naishtat. AGÕæÈ˰ټÒÀÖ County Republicans will weigh-in on two contested congressional seats, as well.
Both districts 17 and 21 have more than one Republican on the ballot. Republicans also have a six-way race for a state senate race in District 24 � the seat being vacated by � and a contested race for state house District 47, which is currently held by Rep. .
