Last year鈥檚 festival for a lack of female performers. However, this year鈥檚 top billing includes international superstars, and (though the latter will be for the second weekend only). Female acts such as , , , , and also made the cut.Other big acts at this year鈥檚 festival include the indie pop of, and . and bring out the folk rock. And some surprises were post punk revivalists, hip-hop wiz and Jamaican reggae legend, .
And of course there are plenty of Austin bands performing 鈥� including , , , , , and . Many of the local acts, however, will play only one of the two weekends.
