How Can I Get On A Waitlist For The Vaccine In Austin?

QUESTION: How do I sign up on a waitlist for the vaccine? � Phil

ANSWER: The COVID vaccine is scarce, and only certain people are eligible to get it at this point: health care workers, people 65 years and older and folks with underlying health conditions that would complicate a COVID illness.

To help qualifying patients find a vaccine provider or get on a waitlist (or more than one waitlist), we're collecting links to businesses that have gotten or will soon get doses in and around Austin. or read more below:

Austin's public health agency has set up a registration site to determine if you qualify for the vaccine. APH is currently focused on providing vaccines for uninsured and underinsured people.

In order to schedule an appointment for a vaccination, you will need to (or login to your existing APH account) and fill out a questionnaire to determine your eligibility. High demand on the website may cause technical errors, the city warns. If that happens to you, the city recommends re-submitting your information again at another time.

The grocery store chain says, once it has received more vaccines from the state of Texas, eligible customers will be able to to get one. The website is not currently taking any appointments and walk-ins are not available. A note on the site says to "please check back."

This pharmacy has a to be notified when vaccines become available. Martin's Wellness has two locations â€� one in South Austin and one in Dripping Springs.

Members of the public can request a vaccine . When you sign up, you won't immediately get an appointment; UT Health says it will contact you when it has vaccine available.

UT Austin faculty, staff and students who are eligible to receive the vaccine now can fill out . The the survey will help it determine how much vaccine to request from the state, but noted that scheduling appointments will be based on availability.
