Dr. Paul Cruz is the only finalist for the superintendent position with Austin Independent School District. Tuesday night's Civic Summit, hosted by , will give the audience 鈥� students, teachers, and other community members 鈥� the opportunity to ask Cruz questions in a town hall-style meeting.

Cruz has worked in education for 28 years and has a Ph.D. in educational leadership from UT-Austin. After two other candidates exited the race in December, Cruz is now the only remaining finalist for the permanent superintendent position.
