The Circuit of the Americas [COTA] and hordes of extreme sports enthusiasts are fighting hard to bring the Summer X Games to Austin next summer. COTA has now produced a video showing just how extreme Austin can be.
Circuit owners expect ESPN to decide among Chicago, Raleigh, Detroit and Austin by the end of this summer. COTA also to try to persuade representatives from ESPN that Austin is worthy of holding the X Games for three years beginning summer 2014.
This dub step-laden assault on the eardrums certainly lives up to the games' extreme moniker, but Austin's not the first city to make a video pitch to ESPN. X Games-loving Detroiters have made since April that showcase the city's extreme urban landscape.
