President Obama is on the first stop of his 鈥渏obs and opportunities tour.鈥� He said it鈥檚 because the Austin area has some 鈥渢errific things going on鈥� that are good models for America to follow.
The president used his first stop today as an example: Manor New Tech High School, where he said students are learning the skills they need to succeed.
鈥淭hat鈥檚 what鈥檚 happening here, right at Manor New Tech,鈥� Obama said. 鈥淭here鈥檚 a reason why teachers and principals from all over the country are coming down to see what you鈥檙e up to.鈥�
Before the president spoke to the student body, he visited with students in a robotics class at Manor New Tech.
