The Austin-based conspiracy theorist, radio host and public access superstar appeared on Morgan鈥檚 show for what was billed as a discussion on 鈥淕uns in America.鈥� Unsurprisingly, the discussion soon went south 鈥� not that surprising a move, when your guest has co-authored to deport your host.
Firearms enthusiast Jones vociferously disagreed with Morgan鈥檚 call for a reassessment of U.S. gun laws in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting. Jones argued that a rise in gun ownership positively correlates with a drop in crime, and made familiar noises alluding to armed insurrection.
"1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms," Jones said.
For his part, that Jones is "the best advertisement for gun control you could wish for."
As of this writing, the White House petition to deport Morgan has 106,612 signatures.
