The Austin Fire Department to keep the emergency lines free off all firework complaints and to use the city鈥檚 311 service instead.
In light of the ongoing drought, the Fire Department is also reminding citizens that fireworks remain illegal in Austin city limits, and their sale has been banned in AG真人百家乐 County. The fine for possession of fireworks in Austin can be up to $500.
However, the city will continue to host. The family-friendly and alcohol-free event will feature, singing, music, and yes, city-sanctioned fireworks.
