Cattle Roundup Shuts Down Part of I-35 in Dallas
There’s a cattle roundup in Dallas that’s causing quite a traffic headache and some for local viewers.
An 18-wheeler carrying cattle overturned on I-35 South of downtown Dallas, letting about 90 cows loose on the freeway.
A dispatcher with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office says cows are still running free despite an effort to load them up into a county cattle trailer. A few cows had to be euthanized because of injuries. No people were hurt.
The dispatcher didn’t expect the roadway to be clear until about 10 a.m. Right now, all northbound lanes of I-35 in the area are shut down.
