Voting is underway in the Austin City Council Place three runoff election. Polls until 7:00 p.m.
Incumbent finished second in the to challenger . Turnout for that vote totaled 7.4% of eligible voters. Early voting for today's runoff election ended Tuesday, after drawing 5.8% of Austin's voters to the polls. The race has become contentious, with each side trading barbs about public safety funding, city support for Formula One racing and election law violations.
